Prototype:The 0-8-0 steam locomotives of kkStB Class 73 were operated by the Imperial Royal Austrian State Railways (kaiserlich-königliche österreichische Staatsbahnen), or k.k.StB, for freight duties. They were built by the Wiener Neustädter Lokomotivfabrik between 1878 and 1911. After 1921 they were later operated by Österreichische Bundesbahnen (ÖBB) and following the annexation of Austria in 1938, they were incorporated within Deutsche Reichsbahn Class 55.
Model: Micro Metakits class 73 is handmade in brass; it features full cab interior, functional boiler hatch with full boiler details and a brushless, ironless bell motor. This model is a masterpiece and it features too many technical and optical details to list.
Please keep in mind that quantities are extremely limited, we recommend you not to wait too long because they will sell fast. Micro Metakit will produce several versions; a total of only 300 will be made. We expect to take delivery sometimes end of 2015.
